Philosophy and Purpose
The Greek Orthodox Christian School was founded in 1997 by a group
of dedicated members of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Its
purpose is to serve as a ministry of the Church for children of its members
as well as for the children of the entire community. The school admits
and welcomes the diversity of children from any race, religion, color,
national or ethnic origin. The philosophy simply stated is to provide
each child an atmosphere conducive to spiritual, intellectual, social,
emotional and physical growth within a developmentally appropriate environment
as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
